Presvytera Maria is now living in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Has one son James Lytras lives in Pasadena.

Fr. Soterios Lytras is a 1950 graduate of the Greek Archdiocese Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology located in Brookline, Mass.

Fr. Lytras was ordained a deacon on September 20, 1950 and served at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin until December 1950. He was then ordained to the holy priesthood on January 10, 1951 and served at the Saint George Greek Orthodox Church in Pittsfield, Massachusetts until July 1954.

He was reassigned to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Binghamton, New York where he served until August 1968. He then accepted his next assignment to Saint Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church in Elmira, New York where he served as its pastor.

Resided in Australia since 2001 and continued to be involved in all the churches throughout Australia and finally settled in Brisbane. He was respected and loved by all the parishioners throughout Australia.
